Backgammon Club
A few Greenwich locals got together a while ago in their mutual love of backgammon. They used to be a travelling group, but have since decided that the Richard is the perfect home for them! So why not come down and join them for an evening full of fun and friends.
This community led event is open to all comers. Head on down on a Monday night (bring your board if you have one) and test your skills against your neighbours. If you don't know how to play come down and the group will be happy to teach you how to play.

QUIZ CLUB
Every Tuesday is quiz night at the Richard. Andrew writes and hosts our popular weekly event.
Expect our usual tinfoil, sink or float all brought with bad dancing and worse jokes from Andrew.
There is a £75 bar tab up for grabs for the winning team, runners up win free entry to the next quiz. Don't worry if you don't think you can compete with the top teams. Second to last, get the chance to win a bottle of wine.
Entry is £3 per player with teams capped at 6 or suffer a 1 point penalty for every extra player.

Burns Night Cheese Spectacular
Our good friend Lucy from the Cheeseboard is back to start 2025 with a Rabbie Burns Cheese Night. Expect flavourful cheese, fabulous drink pairings and a fantastic performance from a local bagpiper to really bring the whole evening of celebrating Scotland most famous poet.
Tickets can be purchased on the Cheeseboards website or by popping in to their lovely little cheesemongers just down the road from the pub.

It's back, the biggest and best annual rugby spectacular is here to save you from that long January post the Christmas Festivities. This year marks 25 years since the tournament became 6 teams.
Can England return to former glory? Can Ireland make it three on the bounce? Italy and Scotland are still looking for their first 6 Nation title... More likely Italy than Scotland...
Join us every weekend for what is always a busy and enjoyable period as we get into the mood for the year ahead.

Bring Your Baby Pub Quiz
1st Monday every month.
This is a fun, brain-stimulating daytime parent social event. The quiz takes a slower pace than traditional ones as we understand juggling a ‘baby brain’ with a baby can be distracting! Toddlers are welcome. We take two breaks to feed, change and chat, and questions are always repeated. Settle in with the picture round from 12pm, with a further five quiz rounds (including general knowledge, music, connection and themed). Team size is 6 maximum. A lunch menu including vegan and gluten-free options is available. Prizes for 1st, 2nd & 3rd places include items such as Prosecco, luxury chocolate boxes and beauty boxes. The prizes are for you, not the babies! Complimentary sweet treats for each table (sealed in packaging). Please buy your tickets via the button below. £10 per parent (free for your baby).
